Located just minutes from Hotel 43, the Idaho State Capitol is the center of power in the state and offers guests the chance to get a glimpse at some of Boise's most interesting cultural artifacts. Inside, the building houses a gilded statue of George Washington with information about the historic trees that once surrounded the Capitol. Outside, pedestrians can ring the large-scale replica of the Liberty Bell that sits un-cracked.

Guided tours are available for groups of five or more, with a maximum of 50. Groups must schedule their tour at least two weeks in advance and a maximum of six months in advance. Tours last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and take place at 10 am and 1 pm Monday through Friday. In order to schedule an upcoming group tour, guests may call 332-1012 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.

Private rooms, events and exhibits can be scheduled for groups and special occasions. The Idaho State Capitol website has the latest contact information for scheduling space. Groups can host events in meeting rooms, on the Capitol grounds, in the auditorium and rotundas.
