Most hotels brag about the number of cable channels they provide or try to entice you to stay with a free continental breakfast that you can pick up at the gas station across the street for a couple of bucks. Hotel 43 on Grove Street, however, offers a room package that’s different. It has actual substance and, at the same time, introduces visitors to a bit of Boise’s culture.

It’s called the Arts Passport and each guest staying at Hotel 43 receives one. The passport offers free admittance to the Boise Art Museum, and complimentary or discounted tickets are available for Ballet Idaho, Boise Contemporary Theater, The Boise Philharmonic, the Gene Harris Jazz Festival, Idaho Shakespeare Festival or Opera Idaho.
