Keep an Eye Out for These Upcoming Morrison Center Events

There is a lot going on at the Morrison Center in the month of November! From concerts to Ballet Idaho events and the Trey McIntyre Project’s fall show, there are many events to see and take part in throughout the entire month. As always, you want to make sure you get your tickets for these events early, as the Morrison Center is a very popular venue especially in these cold winter months. Located just minutes from Hotel 43 on the campus of Boise State University, the Morrison Center is one of the premier venues in the city of Boise for shows of all varieties.

The Flicks Presents: Stars in Shorts

On October 21st, 2012, the Flicks will be hosting the Idaho Film Foundations “Stars in Shorts”. Join the Idaho Film Foundation and the Flicks for an amazing collection of brand new short films from a variety of genres, with stars such as Judi Dench, Colin Firth, Lily Tomlin, Keira Knightley, Julia Stiles, Kenneth Branagh, Jason Alexander and more! This is a great opportunity to see some brilliant short films, meet other film buffs and lose yourself in an afternoon of laughter, music, drama and mystery.

Steelhead Season is Here!

Hockey is finally back in the Treasure Valley! There is no better way to spend an evening this fall with the family than spending time supporting Boise’s hometown hockey team, the Idaho Steelheads! This month, the Steelheads have three home games and four away games, giving you three opportunities early this season to go enjoy some hockey! Boise State Home Games Ramp Up in October

Boise State continues its Mountain West campaign in what is sure to be an exciting October for fans of College Football. BSU also has one out of conference game to kick off the month of October, facing an opponent from Conference USA. The weather is beginning to turn and we all know that fall is in full swing. Boise State will have some stiff competition during the month of October, especially when playing away from home. The October schedule for Boise State includes:

Uncorked in the Garden is an event hosted by the Idaho Botanical Garden where you can unwind and enjoy the splendor of the Idaho Botanical Garden! This will be the final Uncorked in the Garden this summer, as this event is held every Tuesday evening during the summer months, so you won’t want to miss out on your last opportunity this year to join in! Spend the evening wandering the garden, listening to beautiful music of the Rebecca Scott band and tasting some of the best local wines available.
