Balance It All Out
Make your stay a fortifying experience—body and soul. Here are some special opportunities convenient to the Hotel.
BODY
A day at the spa - Visit Floating Feather Day Spa, located just five short blocks from the Hotel, for massage, facials, hair care, makeup, nail care and more. Or allow Hotel 43 to schedule a massage in the privacy of your room.
Get in a workout - Visit our Fitness Center, where state-of-the-art cardio equipment and free-weights make it easy to get in the zone while you’re on the road. Or inquire about a pass to the Downtown YMCA, with its heated indoor pool, whirlpool, steam room and sauna.
Fun on wheels - Rent a cruiser, mountain bike, or tandem bicycle. Perfect for sight-seeing or grabbing a beverage in Hyde Park. Just ask the front desk.
Ski Idaho - Discover our local mountains, and you might need a change of address! Consider Bogus Basin (16.5 miles), Sun Valley Resort (93 miles), Brundage Mountain Resort in McCall (110 miles), or Tamarack Resort in Donnelly (90 miles).
Raft our rivers – Rafting trips from Boise are surprisingly easy—we love Cascade Raft Company, located just 45 minutes away, for trips down the Payette River. For multi-day wilderness trips in over-the-top luxury, check out Sun Valley-based Far and Away Adventures.
Ride the zip line – A half hour drive north of Boise brings you to Horseshoe Bend and the home of the zip line tour in wild Idaho. Guides lead you through a series of seven lines ranging from 175 to 1800 feet long, with ample opportunity to take in scenic views, wildlife sightings, and hits of adrenaline.
SOUL
Meditate - Soothe your soul at the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial, hallowed ground for personal introspection and quiet contemplation. The park features waterfalls, pools, benches and a bronze sculpture of Anne Frank. The words of presidents and slaves, poets and paupers, the famous and the unknown are inscribed side by side on an 180-foot stone Quote Wall.
Walk along the River - The lovely, natural Boise River winds through the heart of Downtown Boise, only six blocks south of the Hotel. Get back to nature with a refreshing walk on the Boise Greenbelt through riparian habitat that’s home to Bald Eagle, flocks of Canadian Geese, ring-billed gulls, osprey, waterbirds, sandpipers, songbirds, and more.
