Boise State continues its Mountain West campaign in what is sure to be an exciting October for fans of College Football. BSU also has one out of conference game to kick off the month of October, facing an opponent from Conference USA. The weather is beginning to turn and we all know that fall is in full swing. It is once again that time of year to get out with the family, get some cotton candy and let yourself go wild! The Western Idaho Fair runs this year from August 17th-August 26th and opens each day at noon at the fairgrounds. Outside of the slew of rides and games, there are many events to enjoy this year.

Uncorked in the Garden is an event hosted by the Idaho Botanical Garden where you can unwind and enjoy the splendor of the Idaho Botanical Garden! This will be the final Uncorked in the Garden this summer, as this event is held every Tuesday evening during the summer months, so you won’t want to miss out on your last opportunity this year to join in! Spend the evening wandering the garden, listening to beautiful music of the Rebecca Scott band and tasting some of the best local wines available.
One of our favorite venues for great theater and orchestral performances in the area is the Morrison Center, located on the Boise State University Campus, just minutes away from Hotel 43. Spend a night on the town enjoying your favorite downtown Boise restaurant and then swing up to the Morrison Center to catch one of the following events. It is time once again for Bronco Football! It has been a long offseason full of questions for the Boise State Broncos, and now you can be a part of another great season on the Blue Turf. There are two great home games that you can be a part of in the month of September. With many Broncos graduating and heading off to the NFL, Boise State appears to have a lot of questions going into this season.
While it seems like it just began yesterday, we are quickly approaching the end of summer. September is the final month of Alive After Five for the year, so if you haven’t gotten the chance to go out and experience this great local event this summer, now is the time! Alive After Five continues throughout the month of August, every Wednesday in the Grove Plaza downtown beginning at 5:00PM. We have had some great times already this summer and we are looking forward to another great month of Alive After Five!
The Annual Boise Soul Food Extravaganza is back! This is one of our favorite annual festivals, giving attendees the opportunity to try some of the best soul food around! The Soul Food Extravaganza is an all ages event and takes place on August 4th in Julia Davis Park. The event runs from 11:00AM until 8:00PM.
