The Idaho Steelheads season continues on and there are a number of great home games for you to enjoy this month! Whether you are looking to attend events that are fun for the family such as a sporting event, or are looking to see one of your favorite bands perform, there is plenty going on in the month of January to keep you occupied! It is that time of year once again in the Treasure Valley! We have waited all season for Bogus Basin to open and now we can officially enjoy fresh powder up on the mountain! Whether you enjoy hitting the slopes on a pair of skis or are more of the snowboarding type, Bogus Basin is perfect for all of your favorite winter sports. This is the perfect time of season to hit the slopes as snow has had some time to accumulate on Bogus and there is great skiing and snowboarding to be had all over the mountain!

Hockey Season is in full swing and with no NHL this year, the Steelheads are your best chance to get your hockey fix. There are a ton of great games in the month of January and with the current lead in the ECHL Western Division, the Steelheads are in the drivers seat for positioning in the postseason. With football season officially complete for your Boise State Broncos, now is the time to get out with the family and enjoy a night with the Idaho Steelheads!

The 8th Annual Miracle on Idaho Street is taking place this December on Idaho Street in downtown Boise. For the 8th year running, over 1,000 homeless and displaced guests from local area shelters will arrive at the Old Chicago in Downtown Boise for a Christmas Day Celebration. Each guest will receive a warm welcome and an extraordinary dining experience, along with a finely dressed table and a full meal with all of the trimmings.

Winter is finally here and there are a number of great concerts to look forward to this month. With the weather getting colder outside, we know everyone will be looking for a variety of indoor activities to stay warm and have fun! The Knitting Factory is presenting a number of great concerts this month across a number of genres, so the there is something for everyone! With benefit concerts from 94.9 the River to New Year’s celebrations, there are many reasons to get out to the Knitting Factory this month!
