Take a Ride with the Locavore Express
What is a locavore? A locavore is someone who primarily eats food that is locally produced, usually within a 100-mile radius of his or her residence. The locavore movement is one of sustainability and becoming more environmentally conscious.
The Locavore Express is an event that gives participants the chance to sample a variety of local foods, and enjoy a scenic train ride on the Thunder Mountain Line. The train takes riders up to Banks, Idaho, for a three hour round trip tour that features breathtaking scenery and mouthwatering Idaho products, such as locally grown corn, Snake River Farms grilled tenderloin, fresh Idaho trout and Idaho peach cobbler, just to name a few.
The event will take place through September 11th, 2011. Ticket prices are*:

- Senior (60+) - $55
- Child (3-12) - $45
- First Class (Adult) - $69
- First Class (Senior, 60+) - $65
