Hotel 43 is proud to host participants of the 2011 Twilight Criterium, which will take place in Boise on July 16th. The Twilight Criterium is a fast-paced, high stakes cycling race that takes place every year in beautiful downtown Boise.
The first iteration of the Twilight Criterium in Boise took place in 1987. This year’s race marks the 25th anniversary of the Boise Twilight Criterium. The race has grown immensely, and now attracts over 20,000 spectators on an annual basis to witness some of the most talented cyclists in the world compete for money and bragging rights. Racers will be competing for a purse of $20,000, as well as a variety of merchandise.
The Twilight Criterium is one of the most popular summer attractions in Boise, and has the reputation as one of the best criteriums on the USA Cycling race calendar. Hotel 43 is honored to be a part of this year’s race. We look forward to seeing some of the greatest cycling talent from around the world, including local hero Kristin Armstrong.
