Experience a Miracle on Idaho Street

The 8th Annual Miracle on Idaho Street is taking place this December on Idaho Street in downtown Boise. For the 8th year running, over 1,000 homeless and displaced guests from local area shelters will arrive at the Old Chicago in Downtown Boise for a Christmas Day Celebration. Each guest will receive a warm welcome and an extraordinary dining experience, along with a finely dressed table and a full meal with all of the trimmings.

Guests will also receive gifts, including warm clothing, toys, books, school supplies and blankets, which will be distributed at the event. Each guest will also have a chance to meet Santa and get a picture on Santa’s lap.

This event that began in Denver in 1996 at the Denver Chophouse & Brewery has turned into a national event that takes place in cities all across the country, from here in Boise to cities such as Boulder, San Jose, Indianapolis, and Seattle.
