Boise’s 26th Annual “State of Downtown” Meeting
It is once again time for Boise’s Annual “State of Downtown” Meeting. This year’s keynote speaker is Peter Kageyama, author of “For the Love of Cities”. Kageyama is an internationally recognized expert on community development and grassroots engagement. His book, “For the Love of Cities”, explores in detail the value of emotional engagement with our cities, and how that connection is created and nurtured, as well as how it can be turned into a development resource for places.
This meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at 7:30AM at the Boise Center on the Grove. Don’t miss out on your chance to see Peter Kageyama speak about how we can improve our already great city! Kageyama has been a central connector in the field of place and community creation, and is the former president of Creative Tampa Bay, a grassroots community change organization based in the region.
