4th of July, Boise-Style

Independence Day is quickly approaching and there is no better place to experience the Boise celebration than with Hotel 43. Located conveniently in downtown Boise, your stay will put you only minutes away from one of the largest fireworks celebrations in the state of Idaho.

Ann Morrison Park is the base of operations for Boise’s Independence Day Celebration, which begins at 8AM with the Idaho Statesman Chalk Art Festival. The chalk art festival will showcase a variety of featured artists including:

  • Liz Wolf
  • Rick Thompson
  • Geoff Evens
  • Ed Anderson

For the first time this year, live music will also be a part of the event. Performance by The Mystics, the Boise Community Band, and Pilot Error will begin at 5:15PM and run until 10:00PM.

The main event begins promptly at 10:15PM with the fireworks display. With the park closed for vehicle entrance, and Americana closing for pedestrian traffic, a short walk to Hotel 43 will put you at your destination before the majority of the crowd makes it to their vehicles.

There is no doubt that downtown Boise is the place to be for the 4th! Be sure to plan ahead and make this year a memorable one!
