Feed people through music with Widespread Panic. Known for their distinct version of Southern rock, this jam band is often compared to Phish or the Grateful Dead. They currently hold the record for the number of sold-out performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, one of the nation’s top venues. The band is kicking off its 2015 tour in Boise on March 13, with an exciting live concert that doubles as a food drive. Panic Fans for Food started as a fan-based organization, and the group hosts food drives throughout the country to help people in need. The band has raised over $96,000 and 13,000 pounds of food for communities across the country so far. So bring your can food and other non-perishable items to this Boise Idaho food drive. Drop them off at the door, and then get ready to rock with Widespread Panic.
Tickets cost $35 to $55 and can be purchased in advance via the band’s website. Doors open at 7PM, and the show starts at 8PM.
