Things to Do in Boise - Saturday Morning Farmers Markets

Boise boasts not one but two amazing farmers markets, which are both open on Saturday mornings beginning in April. Explore an amazing selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, tantalizing baked goods, gourmet cheeses, natural meats, health foods, artisan coffee and much more. Check out the two markets - and visit them both!

  • Boise Farmers Market - Every Saturday (beginning April 2) from 9 am to 1 pm at 10th & Grove - Boise Farmers Market is the newcomer on the scene, and opened just in spring of 2013. Smaller and more intimate, everything at this market is grown by the person who's selling it. It's a true first-person farmer experience, and here the focus is more on foods.
  • Capitol City Public Market - Every Saturday (beginning April 16) from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm at 8th & Bannock - Established in 1994, this is Boise's original farmers market and it features over a hundred vendors. Shop for local produce and ready-to-eat foods, along with fine arts, natural dog treats, homemade soaps and artisan wares.
