Outdoor Boise Concerts Under the Sun & Stars
A slight chill is slowly sneaking into our evenings, as summer nights turn to autumn in the coming weeks. Even better than the season’s peak, this weekend marks the perfect time to get outside and savor the weather at an outdoor concert in Boise and its scenic surroundings, with a couple live music series still featuring knockout performances of local country western, folk, bluegrass, blues, and jazz.
“Idaho Songwriters in Our Parks”
Lucky Peak State Park
74 Arrow Rock Road
A picture-perfect lake and mountain escape, just a half-hour from our hotel, this concert series on September Sundays (2-5pm) is the perfect excuse to head out and spend the day. Hit the beach or take a dip before the show, and feel free to bring a picnic! Low-back chairs and blankets are also recommended, as seating is on the amphitheater lawn. Upcoming performances include:
- September 13th – Alt-country from Bill Coffey & His Cash Money Cousins.
- September 20th – Legendary local jazz pianist and vocalist, Yve Evans.
- September 27th – Underground Nashville songsmith Sergio Webb plays a rare night of originals.

- September 17th (5-9pm) – The Blues Brothers recreate cinema and music history, as Jake and Elwood deliver the goods in a tranquil setting.
