Downtown Boise Idaho Things to Do: Ice Skating at the Village
Enjoy a charming, pond-like skating experience this winter at Boise's favorite outdoor ice skating rink. One of the most popular downtown Boise things to do in the cold season, ice skating at the Village at Meridian is perfect for families, friends, and couples. The rink is open now through February 16 (weather permitting), from noon to 9PM (Monday through Saturday) and noon to 8PM (Sunday). Bring your own skates, or rent them at the Skate Shack for $2 per pair. You'll find skates in almost every size. Tickets to skate are $3 for children under 12, and $5 for everyone else. While you're at the Village at Meridian, you can also go shopping, watch the fountains, catch a movie, or treat yourself to lunch.

Please note: Ice resurfacing takes place several times per day. You may be asked to leave the ice during the procedure, which lasts about 30 minutes. Generally, skate time is unlimited. However during peak hours and days, your skate time may be limited to 30 minutes, so that everyone can enjoy the ice. Please return your rental skates if you leave the ice for any reason.

After you've had your fun on the ice, come back to our stylish hotel to warm up with a cup of hot cocoa - or a delicious signature cocktail. We're situated just 10 miles from the ice skating rink, in an ideal downtown location. Would you like to know more about downtown Boise Idaho things to do, or accommodations at our boutique hotel?
