Fun Festivals in Boise for the Whole Family
Summer’s not over yet! The last weekend of everyone’s favorite season brings a pair of Boise festivals to our streets. Travel back in time to the wild west at the Western Heritage Festival, then mingle with Northend locals at the Hyde Park Street Fair. Both take place all weekend long, offering a unique taste of the rich history and diverse cultures of the 43rd state, less than 10 minutes from your room or suite at Hotel 43.
The Western Heritage Festival
5610 North Glenwood St.
The Old West comes to life for three days at Expo Idaho, as this historic fest recreates life on the range with an authentic Western Town, boot-stomping live music, stagecoach rides, and hands-on cowboy fun. Get the weekend pass so you can keep coming back to practice your quick-draw skills, side with the winners of a shootout, sample home-cooked camp dishes in the Dutch-Oven Cook-Off, and perfect your gold panning skills.
36th Annual Hyde Park Street Fair
Head to the Northend neighborhood for this farewell-to-summer party, a Boise tradition and seasonal celebration for upwards of 40,000 locals and visitors alike. FREE festivities include outdoor yoga, two stages of live world music and dance, some of the best international food vendors in the city, Idaho craft beer, and a well-stocked wine garden. Area artists will also be on hand, selling everything from handmade jewelry and sculptures, to American Indian pottery and paintings.
