Drink-Up the Season at Boise Oktoberfest Events
A 16-day festival at the heart of German culture, everyone’s favorite excuse to wear lederhosen, eat sausage, and drink beer is finally upon us once again. Oktoberfest in Boise offers locals and visitors alike tons of opportunities to celebrate the season together, as close as three blocks from our front door. Enjoy home-cooked Bavarian fare and family friendly fun on the dance floor, or let loose with new and old friends during beer-raising singalongs. A couple of our favorite events include:
Old Boise Oktoberfest
September 26th, 3-11pm
6th St., btwn Grove & Main
Just a 5-minute walk from your room or suite at Hotel 43, Downtown Boise transforms into an all-out German celebration, bustling with festive live music, dancing, an authentic beer garden, and bountiful amounts of bratwurst, strudel, schnitzel, and more. Admission wristbands are priced at $15 apiece, which includes a commemorative mug to fill with your favorite brews all day and night. Tres Bonne Cuisine Oktoberfest
September 25th & 26th, 6-10pm
6555 Overland Rd.
This treasured Polish / German restaurant hosts a delicious rendition of Oktoberfest, now in its 88th year! Serving traditional sausages, warm potato salad, pretzels, potato pancakes, and sweet treats like apple strudel, it’s the place to go for the best Bavarian food of the season. Not to mention the fact each guest receives a FREE Stadl Bier (as authentic as it gets). And don't forget to bring the kids, so they can boogie down to the whimsical tunes of Wolfie and the Bavarians!
