Known as Idaho's premiere art collection, the Boise Art Museum is a landmark attraction that offers engaging visual arts experiences and special events. Explore fine arts from numerous eras and across many cultures, in many media: sculpture, paintings, drawing, ceramics, textiles, photography, metal work and more. Docents are available for talks and guidance every Saturday at 2 pm throughout the galleries, and the museum also hosts special events - galas, family programs, fashion shows, and the famous "Art in the Park" festival in September. Stop by the gift shop for a unique souvenir, or sign up for a class and learn how to paint or draw. Most of all - admire the brilliant exhibits throughout the galleries. Exhibitions taking place this year at the Boise Art Museum include:
- Adonna Khare; The Kingdom (through May 29, 2016)
- Folk Art: The Drew and Katie Gibson Collection (through July 24, 2016)
- Modern and Contemporary Ceramics: Anita Kay Hardy and Gregory Kaslo Collection (through March 19, 2017)
